Our team of multi-national, accredited multi–agency professionals offer therapy, training and counselling. Between us we are trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eating Disorders, Family Therapy, Specialist Counselling and Nutrition.

We have a common aim to help and support young people who have disordered eating patterns.

 

Alan Heyes

Integrative Therapist and a Systemic Family Therapist with a diploma in Relationship Counselling

As the Founder and Managing Director of Therapy Partners, I have a deep commitment to helping others and am focused towards helping clients achieve successful personal outcomes. I am also a dedicated Mental Health Advocate as Chairman of a Countywide Mental Health Action Group. I work with individuals Couples and families. I trained at the University of Kent, the Relate Institute, The institute of Family Therapy and the Tavistock Center.

Breana Bridge-Ahmed

Clinical Psychologist &
Chartered Psychologist

Driven by a passion to help others, naturally led me into the field of psychology. With over ten years experience working in child and adolescent mental health, I aim to work collaboratively with children, young people and their families, utilizing evidence-based psychological therapies tailored to meet specific needs. Presenting issues, I work with include anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, tourette syndrome and autism spectrum conditions.

Dr Chloe Rowland

Clinical
Psychologist

Having worked across a number of psychological services in the NHS, I have experience of helping with a wide range of emotional difficulties and mental health conditions. Using an individual approach tailored to each person, I can deliver psychological interventions that draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).

Claire Jordan

Therapist, Counsellor
and Psychotherapist

I offer treatment to young people with eating disorders, using a cognitive behavioural approach. This often entails working with family members. I have experience of counselling primary school children via play and narrative therapy and have a special interest in working with adolescents.

I have been a CBT Therapist for the past 6 years and I am also a qualified social worker with 25 years of experience working in various disciplines including Youth Offending and Fostering.

Deborah McCabe

I am a Mindfulness Now accredited teacher and a British School of Meditation accredited practitioner. I work with groups and individuals as a professional trainer and I am starting to fulfil my aim of promoting mental health and well-being for all, particularly those suffering from depression, anxiety and stress.

Hannah Burton

My primary focus and passion as a nutritionist for Therapy Partners is to educate and support the team and our clients in restoring and rebuilding a healthy relationship with food.

Jackie Moulsher

West Coordinator

I live in Dorset and I am a Therapist and the South West Coordinator for Therapy Partners. My role includes networking, building relationships with organisations and businesses and promoting good mental health and well-being in the South West.

I trained in Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of Warwick and I have extensive experience working with adults, children and young people and their families.

I run a personal styling and Style Coaching Agency, The Chich Stylist. I am a member of the Insternational Institute of Style Coaches and an eleite associate member of the International Style Me DivineStylist Academy. My unique inside-out holistic approach to styling eliminates any self-limiting beliefs and negative mindsets about body image and appearance, leaving in its place a new found confidence, beautiful presence and the reflection of the best authentic self.

Josie Mahoney

I deliver a specialist psychological therapy from assessment, formulation to treatment, delivering positive outcomes in Art Therapy. I have experience with bereavement, trauma, low mood/depression, and low self-esteem, anxiety, attachment, self-harm, PTSD, ASD and a range of other complex presenting problems. I also have vast experience working with children in this field.

I am an award winning life coaching and fitness professional with over 20 years experience both in the UK and Middle East. An entrepreneurial spirit led to involvement in the set up and success of the first Reebok health club in Canary Wharf until the opportunity to move to Qatar arose in 2005. Body and Health by Design was born shortly after and grew in to a successful million pound fitness and wellbeing business becoming a key part of the Expat and local community.

Louise Hadfeild

I work both in the NHS and privately, providing assessment and treatment using cognitive Behavioural methods with clients experiencing moderate to severe psychological distress.

Luisa Marafon

I have several years of experience helping people with eating disorders to regain control over their lives. From increasing self-esteem and assertiveness to more practical measures such as regular eating and goal setting, clients have been able to overcome their issues around food to enjoy a greater sense of physical and mental wellbeing.

Dr Laura Blundell

I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology who has spent the last 6 years specialising in trauma therapy both privately and within the NHS. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based treatment interventions for PTSD such as trauma-focused CBT and EMDR. I have experience working with all age groups and offer assessment and treatment for other common mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, OCD and personality disorders.
I am a warm and empathic clinician that strives to establish a highly effective working relationship – walking alongside you to a healthier emotional well-being

Marcus Walters

I help people overcome their addictive behaviours including drugs and alcohol using a variety of methods including psychotherapy, CBT and EMDR. I also help the families and partners who are often affected by addiction.

I work as a consultant for businesses, counselling their staff and coaching their management teams and top executives, to ensure they are able to maximise the return on their investment in staff. This avoids absenteeism due to stress, reducing the burden on the business and creates an environment that attracts and retains talent. I have 30+ years in the business world and I am experienced in General Management, Training Managemet, Sales Management and I have an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. My experience enables me to get the best out of employees, that are already functioning to an acceptable standard, as well as identifying long term sickness potential and avoiding it through timely intervention.

I work as a humanistic / person-centred counsellor and use aspects of other psychological approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). I am aware that we are all different, so I adapt my approach to best suit you, my client.
I understand that sometimes it’s difficult to talk about our worries and fears so I can work creatively which can help you to explore your feelings in a different way.

My role, as a Counsellor within Therapy Partners allows me to work collaboratively with young people that have developed an eating disorder and also offer support to their families. I am passionate about raising awareness of all elements of eating disorders. I believe it is my job to ‘re-introduce’ young people to themselves in a safe and positive environment, one step at a time, allowing the young person to “take control” of their journey.

Sharon Couzens

I have always had a strong interest in people and how thought patterns can change behaviour, so I decided to embark on the counselling journey to deepen my knowledge. My counselling training approach is integrative, which means I draw upon different counselling styles to meet the needs of the clients. I have a client centred approach, meaning the client takes an active role in their treatment, whilst increasing resilience and increasing self-awareness.

Wayne Goodwin

I have over 22 years of experience of working in the public sector and have an extensive background in multi-agency working around mental health incidents.
I am an experienced trainer and I am training to be a person-centered counsellor in my spare time.

Zoe Young

Counsellor

I qualified as a counsellor in 2011. I am passionate about encouraging young people to be themselves and not fall victim to how society, media and social media dictates how young people ‘should’ look.

Nicolette Cotterill

Nicolette has over 15 years’ experience in communications and events. She is supporting Therapy Partners to help raise greater awareness of their amazing charity, ‘Rewrite Your Story’. She is also starting a new chapter in her life to become a counsellor so volunteering for an organisation like Therapy Partners is the perfect match.
