Grant Awarded to Support Vulnerable Young People
We are delighted to share that Rewrite Your Story has been awarded a grant of £1,000 from the Magdalen Hospital Trust to support our work with vulnerable young people.
This funding will contribute to providing early intervention counselling for young people who are experiencing challenges such as trauma, social disadvantage, and safeguarding concerns.
Why This Matters
At Rewrite Your Story, we believe that early intervention can change lives. Many of the young people we support are at a critical stage—where timely, relational support can help reduce emotional distress, build resilience, and create safer, more hopeful pathways forward.
This funding enables us to continue offering:
- Safe, consistent therapeutic relationships
- Emotional support tailored to individual needs
- Opportunities for young people to process difficult experiences
- A preventative approach that strengthens long-term wellbeing
Supporting Those Most in Need
Many of the young people we work with are navigating complex life circumstances. Without access to the right support at the right time, these challenges can escalate, impacting their mental health, relationships, and future opportunities.
This grant helps ensure that support remains accessible to those who may otherwise struggle to receive it.
A Message of Thanks
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Magdalen Hospital Trust and its Trustees for recognising the importance of early intervention and for choosing to support our work particularly at a time when demand continues to grow and funding is limited.
Their contribution will make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of young people who need support now more than ever.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to sharing updates on the impact of this work and continuing to build partnerships that prioritise the wellbeing, safety, and future of young people.
